Can I buy books from StoryDarpan platform? Is it secure?
Ans: Yes, StoryDarpan has a collection of books which can be bought online. The platform is SSL complaint and uses Razorpay payment gateway for all transactions. You can fully trust the platform for secure transactions. You can also buy the StoryDarpan curated books from Amazon.
I already bought your book offline or via other platforms like Amazon. How do I get my credits now?
Ans: Please send an email to info@storydarpan.com with the proof of purchase and we will add the credits to your account after verification. If purchase was via Amazon, the proof can be just your name/email/date of purchase/book name(s). Otherwise send a copy of invoice or receipt, or a screenshot of the order.
Can I just start writing stories? I am not interested in reading the books.
Ans: Yes, you can definitely do that, although we would advise you to read at least a couple of books and then decide upon whether you want to continue or not. While it is fun to write your own stories, real fun happens when that story is memorable and teaches something to someone. Reading other people’s stories gives you a lot of ideas which is the raw material for creating new stories.
Do I have to necessarily pay to use any of the services, or I can do something for free?
Ans: You can try our two weeks free trial where you will get to experience all facets of the platform (reading eBooks, creating new stories and exploring the Learn section).
How does this platform help children in creating stories? Can they not do this on their own?
Ans: StoryDarpan platform works in the backend to push the children towards their goal of writing good stories. It will monitor the progress and give them right hints via AI tools from time to time. Once they achieve this goal, a colorful story book can be downloaded and kept as a souvenir by the child. Also these eBooks can be sold to others. All these factors combined will motivate the children towards better story writing.
Does StoryDarpan have a subscription model?
Ans: Yes, we will soon come up with a subscription model. Till then, enjoy the free ride, and use the features as much as you can. You can buy any book (paperback or eBook), or create your own story books as and when you see fit. Once bought, you own them for lifetime. You can also start selling your eBooks on this platform.
